Umelecká akcia výtvarníčky Gordany Zlatanović s názvom Vernissage je výstavou divákov samotných. Autorka zorganizovala väčšie množstvo návštevníkov a preplnila nimi priestor galérie tak, že oni samotní dostali význam artefaktov. Účastníci svojimi telami vytvárajú efekt veľkej návštevnosti, čo paroduje úspešnú výstavu. Zlatanović projektom Vernissage bagatelizuje dôležitosť vip ľudí: kurátorov, kritikov, novinárov, celebrít a smotánky. Obsadením galerijného priestoru bežnými ľuďmi a spochybnením zabehaného rituálu vernisáže atakuje princípy trhu s umením, mediálnej manipulácie a uzavretosti umeleckej scény.
Pôvodom srbská umelkyňa Gordana Zlatanović (1974) vo svojej tvorbe často pracuje s ľuďmi ako materiálom, využíva náhodu, spontánnosť a manipuláciu k tvorbe happeningov a umenia performancie. Medzi jej realizované projekty patrí večera, ktorú usporiadala pre skupinu kominárov, akcia počas ktorej vizážistky premaskovali všetkých účastníkov do Gordaninej podoby alebo renesančnou technikou namaľovanú sériu portrétov rôznych penisov. |

The artistic action Vernissage made by Gordana Zlatanović is an exhibition of the viewers themselves. The author organized a large number of visitors and overfilled the gallery space with them, by which they gained the status of artefacts. The participants with their bodies create the effect of an overcrowded place, mimicking a successful exhibition. The Vernissage project flouts the importance of the vip crowd: the curators, critics, journalists, and celebrities. By invading the gallery with common people and questioning the ritual of gallery openings the author attacks the principles of art market, media manipulation and the hermetism of the art scene.
Artist of a serbian origin, Gordana Zlatanović (1974) often uses people as a working material, and in her happenings and performances works with accident and spontaneity. Her previous projects include a dinner organized for a group of chimney sweeps, an action during which make-up artists made all the visitors look like Gordana herself or a series of portraits of penises painted in a renaissance manner. |
